3.0 out of 5 stars Great idea, but not so great an execution, August 17, 2010
This review is from: Grace Digital Wireless Internet Radio Adapter Featuring Pandora and SIRIUS (GDI-IRA500) (Electronics)
My parents wanted an internet radio and we tried this one and a Myine IRA. They each have their advantages, but in the end we kept the IRA and returned the Grace Solo.

Regarding the Grace Solo
Good - supports many formats including AAC streams
more streams supported than the Myine
much better documentation than the Myine
Allows user to specify any URL desired (via web site)
Controls on both remote and actual unit

Bad - specifying the URL via the web site didn't work and was hard to convince the Solo to
update user streams
weak Wi-Fi reception
menus not as intuitive as the Myine

Ugly - The unit we returned had a defective button on the front panel.

Grandma Pat says:
The unit did not work right "out of the box". Checking with the Grace Digital support web site, tried a "Master Reset", but this didn't work either. According to the user forums, many people have had similar experiences. Looks like very poor quality control from the manufacturer. Amazon customer service was very helpful with immediate shipment of a replacement at no charge, return shipping label, etc. If purchased from Grace Digital, they want YOU to pay the shipping to return a defective unit, even if it's a "DOA".
