3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, but could be better, May 22, 2012

This review is from: BISSELL Little Green ProHeat Compact Multi-Purpose Carpet Cleaner, 14259 - Corded (Kitchen)
Just picked one of these up and gave it a shot on a few spots that have shown up on my carpet. Overall, it seemed to work somewhat, but it looks like some of the stain still remains. I did expect slightly better results, but oh well. They do recommend pre-soaking and leaving it for 3-5 mins for tougher stains, so I will have to try that and see if I have any more luck.

If you have a stain, try pouring some boiling hot water on the stain and suck it up with your machine. Maybe add a little cleaning solution to it as well. This works wonders for tough stains.

Have you attempted either the soaking method or the one Bryan recommended? Has that helped?

I haven't done this yet. We really only have one major stain, that is already pretty much faded. I have been meaning to try this anyway though, I'll try and get around to it soon and let you know how it goes.
