1.0 out of 5 stars The Purpose is to make people feel good and join., October 9, 2004
This review is from: The Purpose Driven Church: Every Church Is Big in God's Eyes (Hardcover)
The Purpose Driven, or seeker friendly movement makes the gospel secondary to a friendly, enjoyable church experience. the tragedy is that people will think they are saved when they are not. This is fool's gold. It's the latest church deception which thousands of pastors are buying into.

I bought this book when it first came out. It was the rage, the new way of looking on how a church should be. Well, I opened it and got through the first page and the Holy Spirit said, "lay it down." I tried to read it 4-5 times and each time I knew I had to put it down. I finally threw it in the garbage. So I cannot tell you about what the book said, but I know the Lord did not want me to read it. God bless.
