This review is from: Timex Men's T48042 Expedition Digital Chrono Brown Nylon Strap Watch (Watch)
I've had this watch for about a year now and it's falling apart. Strings are hanging off of it, the strap keeps falling off and the face of the watch has several deep scratches on it. And I don't put it through much more than just wearing it every day. The strap notches are spaced about 1 cm apart, which for my wrist either means I wear it skin tight or loose and floppy.

That being said, it has been a great cheap "interim" watch. It's not at all dressy-looking, but it has a big, clear display, lots of features, and it doesn't beep when you press anything (that drives me crazy!). Also, the watch face is a bit slimmer than other comparable designs (1 cm), and it's lightweight. If you can find this for $25 or less, you probably won't be disappointed. If you're looking for a permanent or rugged watch, this probably isn't it.

PBcup is too dang picky. It is a GREAT watch for the money...waterproof to deeper than you will ever dive, near-perfect time-keeping, 3 alarms that work. Mine is 7 years old and no battery change and works perfectly and I swim a lot with it on. You are just a complainer and I'm glad I'm not married to you.

I have to agree with Waterbug72. This is a great watch for the money (or for any money, for that matter).

My father gave it to me after he received another one. He is a carpenter and used it on construction sites for several years.

I have used it for several years now as my gym/running watch. It has been drenched in sweat at least 100 times over, and still keeps going. I have not even had to change the battery after about 4 or 5 years.

Great watch. I have paid 200 dollars for watches that have not been NEARLY as reliable.

I have to agree with both replies. Picky is being kind to PBCup, he is more of a Whiner or as I like to call people who are a pain the a$$ PITA. I have this watch for well over 2 years and have done everything while wearing it. As the commercial says "It takes a Licking and Keeps on Ticking". It's well worth the price what ever it is. I have a Casio Solar Watch and my Timex keeps better time. I wear the Casio on rare occasions.
