Her voice is so sweet and fits the song perfectly. This song has a good vibe and good beat. It is simple and fun. No big voice screaming on top the lung, no depressing "my love dumps me and I can't live without you", no "I am sexy and slutty come party with me", no "some stupid rapper talking nonsense in the middle of a song" and making weird noise. It is just a "sweet happy girl looking for love " type of song. Come on we need a more positive outlook on life. When you meet someone you like just make a move and take a chance, that simple. Always hopeful, always see the bright side of life. This song makes me feel young, feel happy, full of energy and wanting to love again. On a side note, Carly Rae Jepsen is pretty and sweet. Not exposing her body unnecessary, no attitude, not pretentious. Just so fresh like Taylor Swift. We need more girl next door type of artists out there. We have enough weirdo or trashy whores out there to poison our young generation in this country.

Hey, lighten up, peoples! There's room in this world for the "happy-go-lucky" girl-next-door type AND the trashy tatooed party galz (who are probably extremely insecure & self-conscious!) & all types in between. And, as far as creepy, weird people are concerned... hey-ain't we all? It's a weird planet, Pops! Heaven help us all. peace, out.

Carly Rae's song "Call Me Maybe" was a favorite of a little, innocent 10year old girl name Jessica, who was mutilated and murdered in Colorado recently. I love listening to the song because it reminds me of sweet Jessica's happy, positive outlook on life. Jess, this song is forever yours, you are greatly missed.
