This review is from: SentrySafe DS3410 Black Fire-Safe 1.2-Cubic Foot Combination Safe (Tools & Home Improvement)
First, it came with 2 large mounting bolts and instructions on where to drill the bottom of the safe. I plan to buy another 6 bolts and secure both the bottom and the back of it to both the floor and wall studs.
I would have preferred a digital but after reading the many lock-out complaints, settled for the combination and the key. It can be locked separately with either or with both the combo and the key. Nice.
Also, it is much heavier than some of the competiting models in this price range. I shopped around. But I could have saved the sales tax if I bought it from Amazon but I also avoided some delivery denting issues by P/U at Home Depot, as it weights 90 pounds.
I did read one review that it was broken into using a crowbar so might not want to keep the family jewels here but it seems as heavy duty as I would expect for a $200 90 pound safe.
It will keep the teenagers out of the pain pills, secure a few back-up USB drives, Passports, other important papers and several laptop computers when we're on vacation.
After being spoiled by the in-room hotel safes, it was just time to get one or two.
