This review is from: Bartok: 44 Duos for 2 Violins (Audio CD)
I love this music unfortunetly I was expecting more than a few seconds long of it. Most of the cuts on this album are only 10 or 20 seconds long . I believe the longest cut is 2 minutes long. The album was a gift and I was dissapointed. I gave the album anyway but I would be very leery ordering another one. I would have appreciated a review of this product letting me know what to expect.

Jeremy Waterman says:
They can only play as long as each piece is written...they are short pieces! But there are 44 of them! And are you sure they're less than 20 seconds!? My CD, different performers, has a few 30 second one but nothing shorter.

Too Cold in Madison says:
The reviewer is wrong. The shortest piece on this album is 35 seconds. They're played the way they were written by the composer.

But...but...shouldn't they also play the repeats?
On a serious note, this is a good rendition, but for a real trill, try to find Iva Bittova- Dorothea Kellerova CD on Czech label Bonton. Many surprises await you there, starting with packaging.
