Would Not Stop Leaking,
The filters on our old RO system were difficult for us arthritic old people to change, so when I saw that the filters on this one just snapped in, we were sold. The unit was no more difficult than any other RO system to install, except that it leaked from under the faucet assembly and we couldn't get it to stop. We called Premier and they had no problem with sending us a new faucet assembly. We installed it and were good to go until several weeks later I heard a dripping sound coming from under my kitchen cabinet. The faucet had started dripping again and the bottom of the cabinet was completely saturated. Nothing hubby could do would fix the problem. He called Premier's help line and they had several suggestions, but nothing worked. They sent out some new parts, but the dripping continued. Pretty soon we're two old, arthritic, aching, frustrated and angry people. We had been using a PUR water filtering dispenser all the while the RO system was down and were happy with the quality of the water from it. We began wondering why we were subjecting ourselves to all this frustration, so we ripped out the RO system and will be sending it back next week.
The only good things I can say about the system is that the water tasted great and that the company tried to be helpful. My opinion is that this system is too new and has too many problems to risk buying. It's a great idea and maybe in a couple of years they'll get it right.
