10 Ports O'Plenty,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: HooToo® HT-UH009 USB 3.0 Hub 10-Port (12V/4A Power Adapter, Latest VIA VL812 Chipset, 3.3 feet USB 3.0 Cable), Backward Compatible with USB 2.0 and Supporting Windows / Mac / Linux OS (Electronics)
This USB hub is slick and convenient. It provides 10 ports spaced equally and comfortably to acommodate the occsaional oddly shaped dongle or ridiculously shaped USB flash drive.
There is a power off button to help save engery.
How do I use it? I own a MacBook, and it's damn near impossible to find a docking station that is good or reliable or available. So I plug all my USB 2 and 3 toys (which include multiple hard drives, a scanner, a printer and wireless keyboard and mouse dongles) into the hub and then plug only the one hub into my MacBook.
I gave this unit 4 stars becasue I think it's overpriced, but I think all USB hubs are overpriced, so it loses some points on value.
But I would buy it again, and recommend it to a friend.
