Excellent LED TV,
This review is from: LG 47LS4600 47-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED LCD HDTV (2012 Model) (Electronics)
I am very impressed with this tv so far...
The TV itself is very sleek and modern looking. Its one of thinnest LED's I have seen and would be great for mounting on the wall. The thin black border is very nice and actually makes the screen look even bigger!!
The stand is also very modern looking and all the trim is a nice glossy black finish.
The picture quality is amazing as well.I went from a 47" Vizio to this LG and its a world of difference!!..The colors are very vibrant and the black is dense. The adjustments and settings are very easy to use and can make a world of difference!!..Especially if you find the codes for THX settings!!
The sound is ok,for this one.I would say its the only thing that could use use some improvement.
Overall this TV is the best bang for the buck!!..I have owned about 15 LCD/LED tv's and so far, this is one of the best by far!!

Wow...I have been waiting and waiting to hopefully hear about the LS4600. I have went through all of the internet hoping to find someone talking about this set or any reviews for that matter and there were none. The lack of hearing anything about this tv started to make me doubt as I didn't understand what was up. Best Buy told me it was in their system as "Deleted", which didn't make sense cause it is new, then I called LG and they said "No, it isn't discontinued". Best Buy guys said maybe cause it is just that not a lot of sales yet? Well, great to hear you speak of your experience. I thought when going into the store that the Samsung's were much brighter then the LG, but that was their displays of different models, so maybe it wont be the fact? Also the LG's white (backgrounds) looked gray, while the Samsung's and Sharps looked True White? Thanks for taking the time to review!!!

I have not noticed and typr of chanel lag whatsoever..Im using a converter box and a cheap antenna for over the air channels and maybe a half second,if that, when changing the channels..hope this helps!!

No problem..sometimes the whites and brites look dimmer on the LG models because they are in a bright store and alot of the LG's have a auto dimming feature, for watching the tv in a light or dark room..hope that helps a little!!

Why are you using "a converter box" ? The LG TV has the built in OTA tuner ? so we can connect the anttena directly to the TV and scan for all OTA digital channel ... ? Since I don't have direct tV or Cable .. I am interested in how fast it takes when changing the channel (using the TV tunner) half second is very good. Thanks.

Sometimes the box picks up more channels in my area..but,even without a converter box,its still just as fast, maybe even faster and the OTA hi def looks great!!

Hi Eugene, just bought this beautiful tv! the picture is amazing, crisp, the color of the screen is beautiful. But I have notice than when the screen should be totally black is more like a bit grey, when you turn it on and the logo appears it should be black but is not. A bit of the edge led is visible, How is yours? Really would appreciate the help! Thanks

I think the bezal and stand are "average" and the shiney plastic looks very cheap. I noticed at Sears that one LG model has what seems to be brushed metal (with black flat paint/finish) - very slick looking. The new higher end LG's also have the new base design that looks more elegant. But they also cost $200-400 more...
