Great watch, until it died,
This review is from: Seiko Men's SGG711 Titanium Watch (Watch)
I loved this watch. It's super light, looks good, and I loved the day/date function (it's surprisingly rare anymore). However, after about three and a half years (right after the warranty ended) the watch would stop occasionally. If you adjusted it to the current time, it would work again for awhile until it stopped once more. I thought it was the battery, so I replaced it, but that just made the problem worse. Eventually it stopped altogether.
I know this isn't an expensive watch, but I had faith a Seiko watch would last longer than this.

Find this review somewhat baffling. (Perhaps even bogus.) Reviewers' comment is dated May 2011. The specs for this watch, SGG711, indicate it was introduced in 2011. If so, then the watch is obviously still under warranty.

Futhermore, watches of lower caliber can have mechanism issues with gears. Probably an easy and affordable fix at the local watch shop. One star? Come on.
