This review is from: The Diet Cure: The 8-Step Program to Rebalance Your Body Chemistry and End Food Cravings, Weigh t Gain, and Mood Swings--Naturally (Paperback)
I highly recommend this book for people tired of being tired, tired of struggling to lose weight, or tired of having back pain. It takes a bit of planning to try out the changes suggested. I've been experimenting with the recommendations for 5 months and continue to be amazed and impressed. It does take a little more effort than picking up a dozen donuts and coffee.
I expected this to be just another diet book, but discovered it isn't about going on a diet, it's about the science of eating and food portioning and combinations.
The book seems to be about eating the same things we eat today, only more of some and much less of others; and the key is when and in what order. It's not about giving up food, it's about changing what and when we eat food. I'm never hungry following the suggestions in this book.
If you try nothing else, I encourage you to try the meal that curbs sugar cravings. It not only curbed my sugar cravings, it energized me more effectively than sugar or caffeine without the side effects.
I continue to be amazed by the results. I really didn't think it would work, nor work so fast, but it did.

How is your progress? Do you still feel your urges have been reduced or even eliminated by the program?

According to you, which of the change(s) got you rid of your back aches ? I've been following the Plan for a month and still in great back pain. GABA and Taurine seem to be of no help. Thanks for answering.
