New RAM for Mac Mini,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Corsair 8GB (2x 4GB) 1333mhz PC3-10666 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM Laptop Memory Kit CMSO8GX3M2A1333C9 (Personal Computers)
Bought this RAM for my new mac mini. Upgrade took less than 5 minutes and the Mini automatically recognized the total 8GB and the correct speed. Definetly recommend this to a Mini. Upgrading from the 2GB stock to 8GB you definetly see the difference and the shared video memory boost up to 512mb with the 8GB.

Wow, I'm also in the same boat such as yourself, having recently purchased a brand new mid 2011 Mac Mini :) Out of curiosity, I assume that you also had the base Mac Mini model, since you mention that you also received only 2GB of memory from the factory. I'm wondering just how significant the gains will be that I might notice? I tend to have lots of programs open at once & hope that this will be my solution to the lags I'm experiencing with only the 2 GB to utilize.
Thanks again for your review & I'm looking forward to hopefully this being exactly what I need! Cheers fellow new Mac Mini owners :)

I thought this product description says "16gb ram." What do you and others mention only 8gb is your review? Thanks.
