Beautiful But Expensive,
This review is from: Leifheit Canning Supplies 2-Cup Glass Preserving Jars, set of 6 (Kitchen)
I love the look of these 16oz Leifheit jars but only use them for gift giving because even with free shipping they are so expensive. Compare plain old 16oz Mason Jars at $8.99 for TWELVE jars verses Leifheit 16oz jars at $15.99 for only SIX jars. That's $32 for TWELVE 16oz jars of Leifheit Brand which is more than three and half times the price for the mason jars. So for me, I use the ugly Mason jars but for gift giving these Leifheit jars are really nice.

At least Leiheit and Bormioli Rocco Quattro Stagioni are not made in Asia like the standard jars.

Other than the cost, how did the jars work for you? Did you ever use them for canning?

Today, I bought a set of 6 Ball Mason Jars (16 oz) in the blue color for $10. They are made in the United States.
