2.0 out of 5 stars Beware of Zombie and Ghost Content, November 1, 2012
This review is from: The Boys' Book Of Survival (How To Survive Anything, Anywhere) (Hardcover)
My son has been interested in survival, wilderness, and camping books ever since we read "My Side of the Mountain" (great book), so when I found this guide and saw the old fashioned cover I thought "perfect". There are some good chapters, like "How to Make a Dugout Canoe", or "How to Track a Wild Animal" or "How to make a Survival Pack". Just be aware you can also learn to "Survive a Zombie invasion", "Haunting" and "Alien Invasion". I didn't think to look for those myself and that's not the kind of book we were looking for.

Thanks for your review. It prevented me from purchasing a book for my 10 year old that does not need the Haunting, etc.

Um... it is a JOKE people, lighten up. It is to make the book fun, interesting and entertaining so children will actually WANT to read it. If you don't allow your children to see or read anything that mentions a paranormal or supernatural element then I pity him and his bored existence.

LOL You are kidding, right? Please, for the love of all that is holy, humor me and say you were not serious.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this information. This is inappropriate for children, especially in this context!
