3.0 out of 5 stars Cannot recommend, November 15, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: SanDisk 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive SD7UB2Q-512G-1122 (Personal Computers)
This wasn't much faster than the old Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 200 GB hard drive I used to test my setup until this arrived, but SanDisk tools says it passes all diagnostics. After a week, it showed about 3% of expected life gone, too! The OCZ ARC100 120 GB SSD that I bought to put in my old laptop at the same time as I ordered this SanDisk for my development rig seemed to load at least twice as fast (in a Celeron budget laptop) as this SanDisk in my quad-core tower, so now the ARC100 is in the tower, a Seagate SSHD hybrid drive is back in my laptop, and this SanDisk gomer is collecting dust. Very disappointed, I had been wanting an X300 for almost two years, based on purchasers' reviews, but cannot recommend the X300s based on this one.

Techno Diego says:
Hi Rob, my Sandisk X300 250GB doesn't load windows and after deleting and formatting all partitions and installing windows at some point will crash again. The BIOS recognizes it but for some reason it won't take this SSD unit as a bootable disk. Will you help me please?
