Fit the Faucet - Does Its Job,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Culligan FM-15A Advanced Faucet Filter Kit (Kitchen)
We originally purchased this to save space in our already overstuffed refrigerator.
One of my main concerns when purchasing this was whether it would fit our faucet which, though standard looking and threaded, seemed a bit big to me. In fact, it did not fit at all, as some other reviews have mentioned.
The fix for my kitchen was simple. I unscrewed the bottom part of the faucet and screwed this on instead. It fit perfectly then without use of any of the included size adjusters.
The water doesn't come out quickly of course, but we also don't find it to be slow or problematic.
The taste is find, it is easy for the kids to use, and the fact that it automatically reverts to tap water when you shut off the faucet is extremely convenient.
Every once in a while we have to remember to tighten it because it tends to loosen through too much moving it about and rotating it from side to side. Five stars for a product that does more than I expected and does it well.

I'd like to add that it still does it's job well and we are very happy to have it but the "revert automatically to tap water" function doesn't work. It's not really a big deal for us, but I thought I'd mention that on our particular set up, that's not currently working. (May just need a flush out with vinegar or something to remove mineral deposits though.)
