This review is from: LeapFrog LeapPad Carrying Case, Green (Works with all LeapPad2 Tablets and LeapsterGS) (Toy)
I like the concept of a protective case for my daughter to use with her leappad. However, this particular case leaves a lot to be desired.
There is no way to secure the leappad into the case. There is a recess that the device rests in, but it doesn't hold the leappad securely. On multiple occasions, my daughter has tried opening the case herself only to have the leappad slip out of the case and bounce on the floor. Avoiding damage was why we bought the case -- but the lack of a mechanism to secure the device reduces this things efficacy.

I agree completely! I make sure my son is standing on a carpeted area of the house before I'll let him unzip the case because the LeapPad falls out every single time. They should have made a rubberband-type fabric strap to slip over the LeapPad. Hopefully they'll redesign the next round of cases...and replace ours free of charge. Hahaha ;-)

I just bought my son the case and wish I had read the review before the purchase. I agree, it is not secured in the case at all so I feel it is worthless. Also there is no room to carry anything except the leap pad and some games. But who buys the games when you can download them and not worry about them getting lost. I am at least paid the amazon price and not the toys r us inflated price.
