AWESOME UNDEAD PURPLE DRAGON, ELECTRIC FLAMES WITH A GHOAST TRAIL!!,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Skylanders Spyro's Adventure: Cynder (Video Game)
I have all the Undead characters and CYNDER is my FAVORITE!
She has a lot of similar qualities to other figures that I already own for instance; she can fly (eventually, like Spyro), she shoots a wide target range (4 branches) of electricity from her mouth (like Zap, but he only has one), and she can move through targets (like Ghoast Roaster) in a "stealth" like way. After she passes quickly through the targets she leaves a trail of "cute" little white ghosts... then she can pop up from behind the targets and SURPRISE ATTACK!! The ghosts that she leaves behind do some of the work for you which is nice.. but the best part about this sort of attack is that... attacking from behind is the best way to maintain your "Life" while doing the most damage to your targets. I've been through all the levels (including the Adventure Packs) and a lot of the targets are weaker when they aren't moving, right before they strike or are weaker from behind. She is only at a Level 1 with 2-3 upgrades and she is slower than Ghost Roaster (at least for the moment), but is much more pleasant to look at than a glowing green cackling skull. With that being said.. Ghost Roaster has gotten me through a lot of timed events quicker than anyone else (even Stealth Elf)!
SIDE NOTE: My 6 year old son has been playing all these levels with me and Ghost Roaster still creeps him out...
HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES CYNDER AND TERRAFIN!!!
If I had to pick two undead characters it would be Cynder and Ghoast Roaster!
Chop Chop looks cool for the Men out there.. but he's best at up close combat until quite a few upgrades (then spiked bones come up out of the ground like a wave with the soul gem).. but if you're not an avid gamer like me.. then keeping your long distance attack stronger... or making your up close contact a "move through" and eliminate or sneak up from behind strategy is best!
Hex isn't bad really..She is just slow with her wind up magic balls that strike her opponents from the sky approach which is her upgraded targeting strategy..
I have all the characters that have been released to date (except Wham-Shell) and Cynder actually seems to be the strongest for long distance wide range attacks without even comparing the stats.. just actual game playing and a hat that's strong for armor. She is up to the maximum upgrade and I honestly don't know if she is any faster in her charged up/move through approach than from the beginning but I am Not disappointed! She is convincing me more everytime that I play with her...that she is the most powerful of all! In battles with my son..he finishes off opponents quickly before I even have a chance to fight with whoever I am playing with at the moment.. I guess I'll have to challenge her speed compared to Ghoast Roaster at some point when I'm playing with my son.
UPDATE: CYNDER IS FASTER THAN GHOAST ROASTER (WHEN THEY ARE BOTH UPGRADED)!!!
Based on the online portion of Skylanders she is one of the fastest/most agile character that I've played with. According to the card stats Stealth Elf and Flameslinger have slightly higher scores on agility, followed by Cynder. I luckily paid retail at Target.
DON'T PAY MORE THAN $9 ish DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the actual review of the product. It's a shame the other 2 reviews consist of a lecture about the free market and someone complaining about shipping.
