Roll of the dice...,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery 2-Pack (Accessory)
I purchased these brand new direct from amazon and I have to say i'm severely let down. I completely understand the matter of sometimes people receive defective products, and looks like it's my turn to be on that list. This contained two battery packs and neither pack would charge. I used my charge cable on an older pack I had just to make sure and that charged fine so obviously it's something to do with these batteries themselves. Maybe they've been sitting around in a warehouse for too long. If you're going to buy these just be very weary. If you get a good pack then great, but me personally i'm out of $20. I'll try to get the problem resolved, and if I do, I will update my review.

Same story here. This is just Amazon not monitoring their stock often enough. Lith-ion batteries are labled as "consumables" because they have a shelf-life of about a year, these have a 2011 copyright on my box, meaning they've been sitting on a shelf for nearly two years... ipso facto, they were dead a few months ago, and there's a good chance their entire stock of them are much of the same.
