5.0 out of 5 stars Just what you'd expect from Raymond Weil, October 6, 2012

Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Raymond Weil Men's 9577-STC-00650 Tradition Stainless Steel Case Black Leather Strap with Crocodile Pattern Watch (Watch)
Really nice workmanship, solid, weighty.... I really like the large date at 6 o'clock, and the day of the week at 12 o'clock is pretty sharp, too. The band is substantial and embossed on the inside of the leather with "Raymond Weil." And the Breguet style hands give it some snap.

Bottom line is that this is a quality watch from a quality watchmaker... I expected it to be great and it is, in my estimation. Also, I checked around on price, and Amazon had the lowest at the time I purchased, but only by a few dollars, although one or two places were almost twice this price.

Can you please tell me if the dial on the watch you received is white or silver? This is my biggest obstacle of why i didn't buy the watch yet. Or please post a front and back picture of it. It will help me tremendously. Thank you!

knb53 says:
The dial is white with a black band. Weird you should ask... I thought the dial (from the picture on Amazon) was more off-white, even though other listings for the same watch looked white... I actually thought I wanted the off-white. But it was just the photo. When the watch came and it was white, I was briefly disappointed, more because I was surprised. But I wore it around the house for a bit, and it really grew on me. It's become my "daily driver." I'll see if I can put some pics up later.

I was asking, because several sites and Raymond Weil official website had the dial as silver. I like the silver dial better. If you can please post a pic of the front and back of the watch. It will be very helpful!
