The most well researched and written book on the gluten-free diet available, period.,
This review is from: Gluten-Free Diet: A Comprehensive Resource Guide- Expanded and Revised Edition (Perfect Paperback)
When I was diagnosed with Celiac in early 2006, I could not wait until the third edition of this book came out. I could not afford the $100 someone was asking for the used version - there were not any new ones and it was that sought after! I could not have made it through my first gluten-free year without Shelley's guide. It cheered me up just looking at all the companies and bakeries that made gluten free food for us back then.
With the newest edition of Shelley's book, there are even more great products, bakeries and websites to explore AND the ingredient infomation is accurate - no outdated 20 year old myths that are sadly still floating around on the internet. We have to work hard to avoid gluten, one should not be taking advice about the diet from anyone who is not an actual EXPERT on the subject. Shelley Case is the real McCoy!
