I was wondering about the operation of this item-
Does the exhaust path travel in a loop when going through this clamp? I see the hole at the bottom of the clamp, where I assume the exaust gas gets pulled out from, does the side on the left have an opening to draw in the exhaust gas, past the sensor, and then goes back out the hole on the bottom?
I actually need an adapter that's much longer, because I'm planning to try it on a one cylinder 4 stroke engine, which has a lot of exhaust reversion during operation. That results in the outside air being pulled back in the tailpipe a significant distance, which would result in erroneous readings. I'd need to see if I can extend this or make up something with a longer pipe.
