I wish all the Steam haters would just complain about it elsewhere instead of giving an excellent game 1 star.
The game itself is excellent and I have run several games on steam for like 6 years now without a single problem.
It is rather linear but even so it gives you the feel of a very expansive game world.
It is a game where you have to actually THINK instead of just run & shoot a million rounds at everything that moves.
In Metro 2033 ammo is rather hard to come by in quantity so you have to conserve and make shots count, use stealth.
There are several parts of the game that are pretty tricky and will take a bit of strategy to get through it.
I just finished it about a hour ago.
The only thing I don't exactly care for in the game is the auto save, there are a few times in hard sections where if you die just before the auto save it will make you scream.
All in all though a very enjoyable game.
Anyone that gives this game under a 4 star either didn't play it or they aren't rating the game itself.
The graphics are very nice and I am playing on my 5+ year old PC I built with a Quad Q6600, Asus Maximus Formula MB, and an old Geforce 8800GT 512mb and 8Gb ram. Runs most everything on high and smooth as can be
