A book worth its weight in gold,
This review is from: Israel Regardie & The Philosophers Stone: The Alchemical Arts Brought Down to Earth (Perfect Paperback)
As a Lisiewski fan I awaited this book for over a year now, and, evidently, it was a wait well worth it. The book deals not only with some very interesting issues about Alchemy, it also provides never published before information on Regardie, his involvement with AMORC and his very private thoughts on the Golden Dawn and its system. That, coupled with all the information about the Paracelsus Society in Salt Lake City and Frater Alertus guarantee that this book is as interesting as it gets.
I was truly amazed by the author's instructions on Alchemy and the practical tips for those who are serious about it and want to implement them in an actual lab. The author describes his own experiments from when he was under the guidance of Frater Albertus, and I have to say that at that point I could not put the book down. In fact, I finished reading it in three days - that's an accomplishment given my workload. Bottom line: the philosopher's stone can exist, if one creates it, and for those interested on what, how and when, the answers are in this book.
