Hands Hard to Read with the Black Face,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Seiko Men's SNDF11 Classic "Amazon Exclusive" Casual Watch (Watch)
I got this watch from a Black Friday lightning deal. At that price point it was a great value.
Unfortunately, I find it hard to read the hands as I was adjusting the watch right after I open the package. What good is a watch if you can't easily read the time! I am a 68 year old but I don't need any kind of glasses and no vision problems according to my doctor and DMV.
Returning it to Amazon.

I would suggest either looking at Invicta watches because the size of the watch bezels run bigger on average or look into buying a digital watch which normally have back lights which illuminate the time. If you decide to buy an analog watch, look for a dial that is a lighter color and make sure that the numbers well contrasted compared to the dial.

Thank you for your advise, Michael.
I did purchase another Seiko model with a dark grey background and white hands.
I also purchased a Casio digital Pathfinder.
I am very happy with both purchases.
I had good experience with Invicta watches too but I wanted to add a Seiko to my collection in this instance.
My opinion is that any watch should be designed so that people with normal eyesight can easily tell time under most lighting conditions. The watch I reviewed did not meet that criteria.
Thanks again and Happy New Year to you.
