Love the book, however this listing is deceiving!!!,
I was excited to find this series for such a great price (I thought). By looking at the picture I thought that you got the teacher's manual, the student manual, the workbook and the tests all for the $25.99 price. I was very disappointed when it arrived and I only recieved the teacher's manual. What a rip off. The listing also said that it is new. My book has a dirty cover and the spine is crooked. The way that it was packaged was also terrible, it was stuck in an envelope and mailed. Don't you know that you need to cushion the book somehow so that it doesn't get damaged in shipping? The only reason that I rated this book 4 stars is beacuse I really like this series and have used the 3rd grade edition before. I would not purchase from this particular seller ever again!!!!

When you buy "used" from a private party on Amazon, it's really important to read all the details for each item listed. If you look at the photo, you will see that a private Amazon customer posted the picture. I just purchased the text and in the notes, it mentioned partially used tests and workbook. Another item listed only included the text.

If it should have been NEW, contact Amazon, they will refund all your money, and offer a gift card ($5-$15) for the trouble. Even if it was marked 'very good', or 'like new', and arrived like that they can help refund your $-or make sure it can be returned with the shipping refunded as well. Be consistant. The seller may or may not be good, but Amazon has always helped me the few times an issue like this came up. ...On a side note would you recomend this for a (newly) 10 year old who has not had much formal grammar lessons? Take care!
