First of all, these are a pretty good looking pair of boots. Particularly the pictures online. Unfortunately, when you get your hands on them, and your feet in them, the illusion is shattered. The leather doesn’t seem like it is leather at all. It is super thin and has a rather plasticky feel. The tongue is like rice paper. And the width of the boot is so thin, if not for the side zipper there would be ZERO chance a normal width foot would ever get in.
In all fairness, I did get one compliment while wearing them, but it was New Year’s Eve, and the woman was hammered, and there's no way her glassy eyes could see the quality of the material. So maybe the lesson is: the more you drink, the more you’ll like these boots.

Dress boots are supposed to be thin and elegant. If you wanted thick army boots or cowboy boots, you should not have ordered these.
