So Disappointed in Redesign of this Clock!,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Elgin 3675E Battery-Operated Analog Alarm Clock (Kitchen)
I purchased this clock when it was powered by a C battery and would have rated it Five Stars. Unfortunately when I re-ordered it recently, it had been redesigned. It is now powered by 3 AA batteries which do not fit into its compartment, and so do not provide power to the clock for it to run! A clock that does not run is no use to me or anyone else. I am returning the new clock along with several others I ordered with the same problem.

I was disappointed to find out I have to use 3 batteries (AA) in it, since I had also read and bought "C" batteries ahead of time. I don't know how I'll decide which battery failed when the time comes. I like the design with the dimmer and brighter switch, but am a little disappointed that it doesn't ring louder than it does. If I had it to do over, I'd try to get one that only needs one battery and that is LOUD. (Heavy sleeper--I now have 3 alarm clocks).
