She's still got her game....,
This review is from: The All-Girl Filling Station's Last Reunion: A Novel (Hardcover)
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
Let me preface this review by saying that I love Fannie Flagg. Therefore my expectations are high for each of her books and I have not yet been disappointed. This is another funny outing by Ms. Flagg.
She writes in such a "folksy" way. I would read her grocery list and probably be amused.
This book, like her others, will make you smile.
This book is about Sookie and her self-discovery. Her "mother" doesn't seem to think much of Sookie or her potential, until Sookie founds out that Lenore is NOT her mother.
Then begins her story of self-discovery.
Read it and enjoy the characters that Fannie delivers to us in her books. Always a delight. Highly recommended.

I liked the review, agree with what you said about Flagg's grocery list :-) However, I wish you would have noted a Spoiler Alert with sookie's "mother". That bummed me out some. Good review otherwise!!!
