5.0 out of 5 stars Beats the fusion, January 5, 2011

This review is from: Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual Men's Razor Blade Refills, 8 Count (Health and Beauty)
When I first heard the ProGlide was coming out, I was a bit skeptical on how it could be that much better than the regular Fusion. As is turned out, the ProGlide is better and noticeably so. There is definitely much less resistance when sliding this across my face. It also seems like I'm been getting a closer shave. The best part of the ProGlide is that your can use your old Fusion handles to attach the blades onto. No need to buy special ProGlide handles. The only bad part that I have noticed so far is that the ProGlide seems to wear down much faster than the old Fusion. I have to replace the ProGlide blades about a week earlier than I used to with the old Fusion.

I tried a free razor provided by Gillette. The cartridge gave me a nice clean shave with out any cuts or knicks i loved how it glided on my face it was very smooth.

With a special offer by Gillette I was able to get this razor for free. If you need something that shaves close and smooth this is a good razor for the cost. There is no little red bumps when am done its a nice clean shave

I completely agree. I was using these, accidentally bought the non-proglide fusion blades for a replacement and immediately noticed more drag on the blade. I actually stopped using them and bought more proglide blades instead.

You can better quality shaves for very low prices with DE or double edge safety razors. Astra Superior Platinum DE blades costs only 0.09 cents per blade when purchasing 100 blades. Therefore, you pay $9.00 for 100 DE blades. The best DE blades are Polsilver Super Iridiums between $20-30 for 100 blades. Merkur 23 C razor or Merkur 38 C HD are very good safety razors. Why pay so much for cartridges? For over 10 years I shaved with multi razor cartridges until I found DE safety razors that costs very little. DE safety razors require a 30-45 degree when shaving. youtube videos show how to properly shave with a DE safety razor.

I get three months from one cartridge. I sharpen with the blade buddy..... They sell them here on Amazon and they work great.
