Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue By Dolce & Gabbana For Women. Eau De Toilette Spray 3.3 Oz (Packaging May Vary) (Health and Beauty)
I've been using Light Blue for a couple of years now and this was the most inexpensive bottle I purchased, but didn't smell like the real thing. I'm wondering if I bought a fake..

I think you are right!! I got a sample of this from Macy's in November last year. I loved it so much that I asked for it from dh for Christmas. He got it here. It smells nothing like what I had. So I just went to Sephora the other day and tried some on from their tester...it is very very different. I believe this is a fake!

What seller was this? Was it Amazon, themselves, or a third party seller?

I ordered this as well. I am an avid perfume buyer and know my scents very well. I was very dissapointed to receive this item. As soon as I opened the box I knew it was a fake (different font, look and feel). Since this is a 3rd party, I emailed the seller and told him I knew it was a fake. I have not asked for a reimbursement. Lesson learned.

I agree Sandra D! I ordered my favorite perfume here on Amazon once & knew as soon as I got it that it was a fake. Been wearing it for years and knew that the scent was not the same.

Why do you people not mention which supplier it was? Was it sold by Amazon itself or by proxy? It makes a huge difference. You can't simply say you ordered it "here on Amazon" without specifying the exact seller. Otherwise, your comment is not helpful at all.

I agree with you. If people would mention who the seller was it would warn others. I've ordered Light Blue on Amazon with good luck. I know my higher end fragrances from department store purchases. If individuals do receive a knock off product they should contact Amazon along with using the return label that comes with any product I've ordered from this site. If you don't receive a return label, that's your 1st clue.
