Why oh Why!?,
This review is from: Agatha Christie's Poirot: The Movie Collection, Set 3 (DVD)
I love Poirot, and especially David Suchet's portrayal....BUT....Why oh Why can't Acorn provide closed captioning on their movies? I realize that the general public would never think of this option, but there are many of us that are hearing impaired and would also love to be able to enjoy many of the wonderful movies that are out there..Most other companies offer subtitles. Please Acorn, if you ever read these reviews, think about adding closed captioning for the quiet minority. I thank you for listening.

There's now available Poirot " the complete collection" set at Amazon.uk. It has "hard of hearing" subtitles and it's reasonably priced. If you have a dvd player that is able to play region 2 discs, I recommend it very warmly. It has all of the 28 discs and is worth getting for subtitles alone. My family and I enjoying it very much and it helps my children with their english as well.

if people are going to leave reviews about poirot dvds and comment that the collections do not list what are in them, then why don't they answer what is in them when they make a review.

The new re=released ones out in 2012 that have been remastered, also contain subtitles. They are called series 1,2,3 etc.
