5.0 out of 5 stars Leather Pouch - Great For Swiss Army Knifes!, December 13, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Victorinox Medium Black Leather Knife Clip Pouch (Misc.)
EXPERIENCE: I purchased a Wenger Evolution Lock S 585 Swiss Army Knife, off of Amazon not that long ago. However, due to its size and weight, I didn't want to be trying to carry it in my pocket. Yes its classified as a pocket knife, but once you start getting up into the big models, you quickly learn that, its more of a pouch knife.

Besides, I carried my last knife in my pocket, it was tiny and I lost it, and have never found it since! Though I knew the length of this pouch, I didn't know its width. I was happy to find out that my Evolution Lock just fits it perfectly, its snug, like a glove.

There are a lot of cheap products out there folks, products which are there to imitate leather, but are actually vinyl. I strongly recommend against vinyl, as it does not last long against heavy use, or extreme heat. Leather is the best material in my opinion, and it will always compliment a Swiss Army Knife well.

I really like the feel of the leather pouch, its ability to slip right onto my belt is very nice, and it snaps closed via a metal button snap. This way its always there when I need it, and most importantly, I won't loose it. I highly recommend this pouch, 5 out of 5!

Great review. Looks like a nice knife holder that will last.
I must say though, I think a buck skin knife sheath with a 12 in Bowie knife in it would be much cooler and more your style. You get more respect that way, Ha

Yes, and I already own one, hand made infact! This way if somebody pulled a knife on me, I could say..............................

Thats not a knife........................This is a knife!

Oh look at that, there he goes running off like a sissy lol. You got to admit though, these Swiss Army Knifes are pretty cool. I think I should start my own SAK clan. Then I can say, want to be my friend? Get a Swiss Army Knife fool! lol

Thanks for reading, rating, and commenting on my review, I appreciate it.
