4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable Read, June 3, 2008
This review is from: Apache Warrior (Zebra Historical Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
I have just finished reading this book and must say I can't wait to read Amanda's sister, Candy and Damon's story. I was looking for some summer reading and liking Historical Romances, this one caught my eye. The authors research on the history of the Chiricahua Apaches was very interesting and made you feel like you were learning their ways of life right along with Amanda. I for one was glad to see that the main couple didn't just fall into being together without really learning of each other first. It took months of the learning and getting to know and respect each other and was very well written. I have added this author to my list of "must reads". I hope there is more of Amanda and Kayto's story in her next book also.

Will someone please explain to me what "summer reading" is??? I see this phrase used over and over and over in book reviews. What is it, please???? I'm an avid reader and I read all year round, all kinds of books, there has never been any particular genre that I could consider to be "summer reading".

Hi Matilda, I to was once confused by this and it was explained as being books released during the summer for a quick and "inexpensive" read. Something you could read and enjoy but would not consume all your vacation or lounging time. I hope this helps and happy reading!

Thank you so much! I know it's a petty annoyance but I just honestly didnt understand what was meant. By the way, I'm a Houston Girl, a proud Texan, and I sure do wish I was back home living in Texas.
