I started the diet when I started the book. I've finished the book just now, and this morning I was 4.8 pounds lighter than the day I started. I plan to stay on the diet until I lose 40 pounds, then switch to maintenance mode. The first day was hard, but the rest has been a breeze. Gotta go now and get a Cheese Whopper - it's part of my diet!
