2.0 out of 5 stars Bad non-stick on a good pan, November 1, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Cuisinart AMB-9LP 9-Inch Chef's Classic Nonstick Bakeware Loaf Pan, Silver (Kitchen)
After reading the many glowing reviews of this pan, my dear Hubby purchased 4 for our bread making. They worked great for the first few months. But even though we treated the pans with great care, greasing the pans each time, washing them carefully by hand with a soft sponge, and storing them with paper towels in between each pan, the nonstick still flaked off on the bread. Soon large silvery sections of non-stick coating had to be cut out of our bread loaves! Such a waste of both good bread and what could have been a fabulous loaf pan! Now I'm looking to replace these pans which should have lasted for many long years of use. But who wants to eat toxic nonstick? So unless you bake only a few times a year, purchase different pans!!

And what was Cuisinart's response when you informed them of this problem? I am sure that is not what Cuisinart would want for their product within the first few months of use so I would tend to think that perhaps you got pans with defective coating rather than this being the "norm".
