This review is from: Fisher-Price Little People Wheelies Disney/Pixar Cars Mack Hauler & Lightning McQueen (Toy)
This toy overall has the characteristic quality expected from Fisher Price. Mack the Hauler has been thrown across the room, slept with, driven on the dog's back, the TV screen and even in the dog's food bowl and still, he runs and talks like new. The only drawback to Mack is he has some paper stickers on him and little ones like to peel stickers. Mack's eyes (windshield) are peeling off and it has only been a few weeks since we got him. Even so, this is durable toy overall, well made (except for the stickers) and fun to play with. The launcher part, where Lightning comes flying out the back of Mack, is only so so in terms of propulsion, not very powerful. It does work with other Lightnings though, including diecasts and hydrowheels. If it fits, Mack can launch it. Enjoy.
Addendum 12/26/13: Since there seems to be some confusion about the size of this toy, I have taken pictures of it with a ruler and a Bic lighter to give you some perspective. I did not find it to be small. It is a perfect size to launch Hot Wheels and Disney Pixar and Mattel cars, including 1/64 and 1/55 scale. Also, my grandson has had this in everyday use for several months and it still is in good shape and holding up well to a pre-schooler, so it is durable.
