I am thrilled this dvd is coming out. My boys are too young for the mature content of the show but love the musical performances. Now I can have them watch without having to be ready to skip through the inappropriate (for a 9 year old)content.

So what do you think fast-forward is for? This is great for the younger kids who can't (and shouldn't) be watching the whole show, but do like the music - you don't have to sit down and watch the whole DVD at once either. Parents are smart enough to preview and edit what their kids see. Get a grip on reality.

The reviewer said that her boys LOVED the musical numbers, so actually no they wouldn't rather be playing video games apparently.

Or instead of fast forwarding and sheltering them use the content as a way to teach children.

Some of the musical performances are still HIGHLY suggestive and border on inappropriate. It's a shame that a show that clearly caters to preteens/teens has so much inappropriate material--such as 15-year-old characters having sex, getting pregnant, and giving birth. YES, 15, unless they were held back year after year. It doesn't matter that some of the actors are nearly 30--they're still playing young teens.
