5.0 out of 5 stars Great Presentation - High Price alternative.., June 8, 2011
This review is from: IMAX: Hubble 3D (Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy Combo Pack) [Blu-ray 3D] (Blu-ray)
Excellent 3D bluray to keep on your shelf and showcase the power of your 3DTV.. I'm going to make this review short and sweet and to the point. You can find this at Best Buy for half the retail price as Amazon. Unless they choose to price match, I recommend going to your local BB for the purchase. Just a friendly suggestion, I'm a loyal Amazon fan, but not at the sacrifice of assisting fellow shoppers on a great deal.

I read that promotional special ($34.99) ended in May 2011.

Is it me or has Amazon just not figure out yet that when we are looking for movies we may want some snippet of information telling us what the movie is about? A brief paragraph describing it attributes... Would a trailer be too much to ask!?

I know what you mean. The information provided for DVDs varies from product to product. This one at least gives an editorial review to give customers an indication of content. The worst ones are the pre-order DVDs (e. g. concerts) where it tells you nothing other than expected release date.
Trailers seldom give me enough information to decide if I want to purchase a DVD but might be helpful for some.

MSRP for this BD is 44.98. Why would I pay more? Amazon needs to get this right and lower the price, especially if they want to charge over $1 per minute.

I just bought a copy of this disk *IMAX: Hubble 3D (Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy Combo Pack)* on sale at Best Buy for $29.99 + tax. If you don't have a Best Buy nearby, you can order it online for the same price + tax and no shipping charges on standard delivery option.
