4.0 out of 5 stars Finally, A Solo Album, March 1, 2011
This review is from: Town Line (MP3 Music)
I've been a follower of Staind and Aaron Lewis for years and love how the changes in his life (marriage, kids, etc.) is reflected in his music. This album definitely highlights his amazing voice and meaningful lyrics. I think it's a little strange to have three variations of the same song (Country Boy)...and its not my favorite song. Plus, I already have 'Tangled Up in You' in the Illusion of Progress. However, it was worth the 3 new songs for me.

If you're looking for Staind music, you'll be disappointed...its a totally different genre. However, if you're an Aaron Lewis follower and like the country/soft rock mix, you'll love it!

T. LeBaron says:
This is his second solo release. There was an album in 2008. And there are plenty of releases with alternate versions of songs available. That's not strange these days, that's a common practice as lots of radio stations pick the versions they prefer for airplay...that's been going on for years...

J. A. Buhrer says:
This isn't an album. It's an EP. Hence the multiple versions of one song...which is a standard feature of pretty much every EP that's ever been released. Hope that clears things up.
