Great app for baseball fans. Only video requires subscription.,
This review is from: MLB.com At Bat 11 (App)
I feel compelled to share my opinion for this app - especially because many of the other reviewers don't understand what it does. And, I suspect they'll get even more frustrated when they realize that this app will only work for the remainder of the 2011 baseball season. Next year, users will need to get MLB.com At Bat 12.
I paid $15 in 2010, and again this year through the Android marketplace for this app. It is so good, it is worth that much each season. I use it *every* day of the baseball season.
Here's what you get for free: scoreboard widget, which can show your favorite team by default. Live pitch-by-pitch game cast for every game. Live box score. Play-by-play. Scoreboard. Standings. Information about teams and stadiums. PLUS, it gives you at least 2 audio feeds for every game. FREE. You get to choose between the home or away radio broadcasters. So, if you find yourself out of town, you can still listen to your favorite broadcasters.
Here is who should grab this app, and even pay for it next year: Any baseball fan who travels outside the team's home area. This is even better than XM, because XM has a monthly fee, you need an additional device, and only the home audio feed is carried. Also, anyone who plays fantasy baseball will love the gamecast, which can be checked on-the-go at any point. I got kicked under the table the other day for checking out the wild-card race during dinner.
If you are also a subscriber to MLB.TV, you can watch the games on your phone/device too. This is a GREAT feature. I do not subscribe, because of an issue I have with MLB.TV (I wouldn't get to watch my team because of blackout restrictions).
Recap: Gamecast, scoreboard and audio feeds are included FREE, and well worth it. Video requires the MLB.TV subscription.

Just to clarify, I wrote this review when this app was the Amazon free app of the day. Anyone who picked it up that day would not have paid for it, so the app was free (as well as all of the features I described). The only additional fees would be fore MLB.TV, which has its own subscription, but can be viewed through this app.
