5.0 out of 5 stars Great price for the set, May 9, 2010

This review is from: Lumix POWER KIT DMW-BCG10 (Includes 2-1200mAh batteries and pocket Charger) for the Panasonic DMC-ZS1, DMC-TZ7S, DMC-TZ7T, DMC-ZS1K, DMC-ZS1S, DMC-ZS3, DMC-ZS8, DMC-ZS9, DMC-ZS10, DMC-ZS5, DMC-ZS6, DMC-ZS7 DMW BCG10E, DMW BCG10P. Also included is our High (Camera)
I got these for the DMC-ZS7. As people had mentioned not all 3rd party batteries work, I e-mailed the company and checked. They said they worked and would be happy to take them back if they didn't. The batteries have worked great.... compared to the price for a Panasonic battery, this set is a bargain. The car charger is just a bonus. I didn't give it 5 stars for ease of use (although it charges REALLY fast) because the charger does take different size batteries and you do have to line these up...but it isn't a problem if you look at the charger. Anyway, very glad I bought these.

How did you contact them (them being "thememstore"?)

You can google thememstore.

Two questions:
1. Is there a name on the batteries because many people are claiming that the Power2000 BC-G10 batteries from thememstore work with the zs7. Wonder if these are what you got in the kit?

2. What version of firmware are you using. The zs7's are shipping with the version 1.0 right now but there is a new version 1.1 at the Panasonic site as of June. Does anyone know if they work with the updated firmware?

I just bought the ZS7, not sure what firmware it is running at the moment but like Ellen posted above, Does this battery work with the new firmware? I've read that the new firmware puts an id on the battery or something like that making it impossible to use anything but a panasonic battery. Thanks for the reply.

Hello,
I have a ZS7 with updated firmware and I am happy to inform that these batteries work perfectly fine. I still haven't tested if these batteries hold charge for longer period when compared to the original battery. Buy with confidence, the batteries work fine.
