5.0 out of 5 stars Great heater!!, February 14, 2011
This review is from: PROCOM Blue Flame Vent Free Wall Heater - 30,000 BTU Output, 1000 Sq. Ft. Heating Capacity
I love this heater. I live in 1000 sq ft home, and this is my only source of heating. It does a fantastic job of keeping us warm. We are using natural gas and the hookup was easy. We can set the thermostat control and don't have to worry. I got a gas heater because of electrical problems and power outages in the winter. This was a good choice.
I like that is mounts on the wall, taking up no floor space.

Octopusrex says:
Many contractors will not install a ventless natural gas or propane heater as a sole source for heat. Some regulatory agencies also prohibit their use as a sole source. The reasoning is that it uses house air for combustion and, even with the oxygen depletion sensor, could produce dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. I have a heater of this type as a supplemental source of heat, not the primary heating method. It works very well in maintaining lower temperatures overnight and, when away for an extended period, prevents water line freezing.
