sketchbook pro upgrade,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 2011 Upgrade (DVD-ROM)
There are some nice new features in this upgrade but overall I think more could have been done. I'd like to see shortcuts to move between eraser, brushes, paint bucket, etc. The tools are now more accessible which speeds up the drawing process. New tools like rectangles, straight lines, ovals, etc. can now be drawn in more easily. After all is said and done, I'm glad I got the upgrade.

I'm sorry that this is kind of off topic from your comment, but I can't find my answer anywhere. I was wondering if I need the regular Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 2011 in order for this "upgrade" to work. Or can I just buy this, and start drawing? Thanks for taking your time to read this! :)

I sent a reply earlier but it went.to Amazon instead of you. As far as I can tell, and I've been doing some research, the upgrade seems to be a full blown version. I installed it on my computer and now I have the old and the new program. I hope this helps you make a decision. I find you tube has some some instructional and inspirational vids of both versions.
Best of luck,
