Thanks for the review, however I really wish you would have explained what a "sequence" is.
You kept repeating this term, over and over, and I kept saying to myself "what the hell is a sequence?".

A. Whitney says:
Jeff wants to know "what is a sequence?". A sequence defines how each of the 4 zones are armed. So say you want all 4 zones armed and set for "Instant trigger", then if any device on any zone is set off the alarm will sound immediately with NO DELAY!
Another example: say you want a sequence that has zone 2 OFF all the time and all the other zones on instant trigger, that would be a separate sequence. This would be desirable if you want all the motion detectors off to roam about the house but want all the other devices on and active. Another example: Say you want Zone 1 with a 30 second delay to allow you to exit the home but have all the other zones on instant trigger, then this would be another sequence. THERE ARE 6 POSSIBLE SEQUENCES for this system. You select which sequence to turn on by entering your password (code) and then 1 or 2 letters on the keypad.

I didn't quite understand what a sequence is either and I only understood his third example, but nevertheless I really appreciated a review from an engineer. His professional scrutiny is what helped me to decide to purchase this device for my home.
I shop on Amazon a lot and only purchase products with many good reviews. I only wish there were more "professionals" who would post their opinions here. He is the first I have come across. It is only natural that an engineer would understand how this device should work. So, his post is very valuable.

I just bought this system, and I was surprised that the remote did not need to be paired with the main controller. I am wondering if someone just buys a remote for this, can they disarm my system?

This is the first video review I have seen on Amazon. Thank you very much for taking the time. Your review has helped me make up my mind to purchase the system. Your one in a million, an engineer that is level headed! Thanks it was really very nice of you to take the time.

What a helpful review. For me, the credibility of the review was boosted tremendously by your stating that you have no relationship to any company that makes or sells security systems. I really appreciated the specificity and the mention of an alternate system that works well for landlines. Thanks for making the effort to do this.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to provide such a valuable review. Our daughters are in college and we are very concerned about their safety and were researching a wireless system that could be used in apartments. I rely heavily on consumer reviews for all of the products that I purchase and yours is certainly the one of the most useful reviews I have ever read. Thanks again for being so generous with your time. I hope that your family member is able to once again feel safe.

I don't see reference to a way to link this 100 model to a cell phone, yet in the video it is claimed that the 1000 model isn't needed because two cell phones are in use and not a land line....

He mean, that if you don't have a land line at home, you won't be able to use the dialer cause you need a fisical line for the dialer to dial...
