I'm not impressed with the execution of this game. The idea for the game is great. It's not original (Lingo is a two player game on Game Show Network that is basically the same game), but it's still fun. I am happy with the file size of this app and the lack of invasive permissions, but aside from that I have some issues with it.
-Force closed on me 2nd time playing it
-Graphics: Horrible for a paid game, everything is in primary colors and very blahhh to look at.
-Help menu: Hopefully you don't rely on the help menu to figure out the game because it is confusing. I only know how to play based on watching the game show on TV, not anything I learned from the help menu. The menu doesn't even use correct grammar.
-Game set up: The key pad to enter your letters is tiny with a bunch of wasted space right above it. It doesn't really make it clear if you need to enter letters that are already in your red boxes above (you do) and I keep having to backspace to enter the letters that are already shown in the correct position.
Here's a rundown of how to play since you might not figure it out based on the "Help" provided. So basically you get to choose 5, 6 or 7 letter words to guess with your number of chances being the same is the number of letters. There are red boxes at the top with the first letter given and the rest empty. You guess a word and if any letters are in the correct spot they stay up in the red box. If they are in the word, but not in the correct spot they go down below in a circle. You use your guesses and hope to get the word, if not it uses one of your "credits" and moves on to a new puzzle.
