Raw Story Hagiography,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: This Town: Two Parties and a Funeral-Plus, Plenty of Valet Parking!-in America's Gilded Capital (Hardcover)
An amusing beach summer read about an imaginary prototypical small town DC from the 19th century, with ageless architecture and imitative old world culture, like a Williamsburg re-enactment without raunch stuffed with geriatric parties, food, liquor, bragging, backpatting. Little about This Town's underside miserables, only about the US Chamber of Commerce bestaged horrors and silly-walk strutters demonstrating the perquisites of mammonry of Us At the Top and writing about it. For a failed bloomer dreaming of a dignified second-career in journalism it's a how-to manual for envious mocking of main street slobs with arch-preppie disdain, false modesty, middle-road wry. Bloodless, harmless, fawning for The Club, nobody should mistake this Raw Story hagiography for disturbing journalism.

Despite a post-graduate education, I have no clue what you are talking about. I'm not even sure if there are any actual sentences in your diatribe.

Mr. M. Davies says:
Some "post-graduate education" that must've been. Does "post-grad" now just mean an advanced level from what JY depicts as "arch-preppie disdain"?
