good quality construction for the most part. very good leather on upper, very good soles. the tung seem to be made of a very thin leather however and starting splitting and wearing after only a few days. but this was not a real big deal for me. I like the style of this shoe. regarding fit, is is exactly same size is my red wing boots costing twice as much. do not use your tennis shoes for size, these are boots and you need to know your boot size which can be different than your other shoes to feel right for you.
after wearing these for over a year and abusing them alot, they are still working great for me. I expect to buy a replacement pair when needed.

Could you please share the boot size is larger or smaller comparing to tennis shoes?

I find the boots feel much tighter than the same size tennis shoe. The tennis shoes have more give so they do not feel as tight to me. I can wear a size 10 tennis shoe but minimum 10.5 boot. I have high arches and my tennis shoe can adjust, however, the boot can be very tight around the top part of my foot and this can force a larger size as well. If you have wide feet like me, I like a 3E wide boot but my tennis shoe does not have to be as wide to be comfortable. I suggest you try out some boots at a store to get a feel if you need a bigger boot size than your shoe size.
