Lodge sold out to China,
This review is from: Lodge Enameled Cast-Iron 5-Quart Dutch Oven, Patriot Red (Kitchen)
This Dutch oven is made in China, the quality or lack there of shows. If you visit the [...] site and read the about us tab, they will lead you to believe that all their cookware is manufactured in Tennesse. I bought this Dutch oven under the impression that it was made in the USA. When received to my dismay there was a made in China label on the box. The Dutch ovens are advertised to be able to use on a ceramic cook top. That is not the case when the bottom of the pan is buldged out. You only have a small contact area then. I would have thought that quality control would catch this, unless there is none.....I'm sure it would work fine on a gas stove.

If you read the description it clearly states the Item is imported.

C. Fortier says:
If there is a convex bulge in your dutch oven, let them know, and they will make it right! It could also be due to where you bought it from - perhaps they only carry seconds.

Lodge enameled cookware is made in China. The cast iron is still made in the USA. From the many reviews that I've read, it's clear you're not the only one to assume it is made in the USA. Don't have any of the enameled cookware but highly recommend the cast iron.
